If you want other options for spherical capture or action recording, reviewing insta360 x3 360 degree waterproof alternatives helps you find the right camera. The Insta360 X3 delivers 5.7K 360-degree video, 72-megapixel stills, and 8K timelapses using a 1/2-inch sensor. It includes a 2.29-inch touchscreen, image stabilization, and slow-motion recording up to 4K at 120 frames per second. These specifications give you complete spherical coverage and let you reframe angles after shooting.
You might still prefer a different camera setup. Some creators need standard directional video in 5K or 5.3K rather than spherical footage, while others prefer a larger 1/1.9-inch sensor or a different brand like GoPro. Physical dimensions and weight may also guide your choice. The 6 alternatives on this list were chosen because their specs overlap with the original, sharing core capabilities like built-in stabilization, touchscreen control, and live streaming.
