Comparing DJI Air 3S Alternatives
DJI Air 3S Dual-Camera Drone
This option features the same core Air 3S hardware as the original bundle, including 4K video recording, a 1-inch CMOS sensor, and omnidirectional obstacle sensing. It comes with the RC 2 remote controller, multi-battery charging, and LiDAR safety sensing. It differs in package contents and listed weight, measuring 1.6 pounds and 557.17 cubic inches. You give up the extensive bundle add-ons of the original kit, such as the extra backpack, landing pad, ND filters, and 128GB microSD card. Choose this version if you want the Air 3S multi-battery flying setup without third-party extras.
DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo with RC 2
This model provides a dual-camera setup, 4K video recording, and the DJI RC 2 remote, matching the original in multi-lens versatility and O4 transmission. However, it is the standard Air 3 rather than the Air 3S. It weighs 1.59 pounds with dimensions of 13 by 4.17 by 10.2 inches. You give up the larger 1-inch 50MP primary sensor and the forward LiDAR sensor used for night return navigation. You also miss out on the original bundle's 128GB card and carrying accessories. Pick this drone if you want reliable dual-camera capture without needing updated sensor hardware.
DJI Air 3S Fly More Combo with RC 2 Screen Remote
This Fly More package shares the core imaging and navigation technology of the original, including 4K video, a 1-inch CMOS sensor, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and a 20-kilometer transmission range. It includes the RC 2 screen remote, forward LiDAR obstacle awareness, and multi-battery flight support. The hardware lists at 1.6 pounds with dimensions of 12.8 by 4.17 by 10.5 inches. You give up the extensive bundled extras found in the original, such as the landing pad, ND filters, and dual bags. Choose this option if you want official multi-battery flight gear without bundled third-party supplies.
DJI Air 3S Dual-Camera Drone Bundle
This bundle features the same 4K dual-camera configuration and 1-inch CMOS sensor as the original drone. It offers a compact frame measuring 5.1 by 1.9 by 6.2 inches and includes protective field accessories and transport gear. Unlike the original three-battery Fly More kit, this set is built around a single-battery flying routine. You give up the two extra flight batteries, the charging hub, the 128GB memory card, and the ND filter set. Choose this bundle if you prefer a single-battery setup with focused field protection rather than the extended flight sessions of a multi-battery package.
SwellPro Fisherman Waterproof Bait-Release Drone
This drone is built for marine utility rather than standard aerial imaging. It provides dedicated water resistance and a specialized payload release capable of dropping 4.4 pounds of bait up to 1.3 kilometers offshore. It records in 4K resolution, matching the original drone's recording baseline. However, you give up the 20-kilometer transmission distance, 45-minute flight time, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and dual focal-length camera system of the Air 3S. Pick this model if you need an offshore delivery platform for coastal fishing operations instead of an aerial photography and video capture drone.
DJI Air 3S Dual-Camera Drone with Screen Remote
Targeted at travel creators, this option matches the original with 4K dual-camera recording, a screen remote controller, and up to 45 minutes of battery life. It specifies 14 stops of dynamic range to assist outdoor shooting in changing natural light. Its physical specifications list dimensions of 10 by 7 by 10 inches and a 10-pound weight. You give up the extensive bundled accessories from the original, including the ND filter set, landing pad, cleaning kit, and dual carrying cases.
